“Look at me I’m beautiful and graceful and oh shit kid you ok”
This is my ruler and notepad tattoo. I believe that tattoos can be used for functionality as well as memory. I’m a designer, so I use the ruler for buttons, zippers, and trim widths. Usually the notepad has an address or to-do list on it. :)

Excerpt from our interview with “Man of Steel’s” Michael Shannon about his previous role in “Kangaroo Jack”:
Would you ever work with a kangaroo again?
[Laughs.] Jesus. That was really scary. When that kangaroo rapped in “Kangaroo Jack,” that animated sequence, I found that very disconcerting.
Why?
I wish that wasn’t in the [movie]. I wish I had never seen that. It was very frightening. There’s something evil about [that]. Maybe that’s what the devil is like. He’s like a kangaroo that raps.Maybe that’s what the devil is like. He’s like a kangaroo that raps.
Slave gravesite in New York City
“SOMETHING YOUR TOUR GUIDE MIGHT NOT TELL YOU:
The heart of NYC’s Financial District is built on a huge 18th century African Burial Ground. Some 419 Africans were discovered in 1991, a large portion women and children.
The burial ground extends from Broadway Southward under City Hall, and almost to the site of the former World Trade Center. It is believed that there are as many as 20,000 slavery-era Africans in graves under the buildings in Lower Manhattan.
Abolish historical amnesia and ponder for a moment the fact that this financial epicenter of the world is built on slavery, oppression, and death.”
Literally, and daily.
I remember that lie from elementary school. They taught us all that there were no slaves in the north.
Like weary boxers who have gone the distance, the combatants collide in one last, explosive effort. In the years to come, a few witnesses will tell of the power of these final punches… that they could literally feel the shockwaves. Others will remember the enormous crater that resulted from the sheer force of the blows. But most will remember this sad day as the day the proudest, most noble man they ever knew, finally fell.
For those who loved him - one who would call him husband - one who would be his pal - or those who would call him son - this is the darkest day they could ever imagine. They raised him to be a hero… to know the value of sacrifice. To know the value of life.
And for those who served with Superman in the protection of all life comes the shock of failure. The weight of being too late to help. For a city to love, a man had given his all and more.
(“Please hang on! The paramedics will be here any second! Please!”)
(“Doomsday… is he… is he…”)
(“You stopped him! You saved us all! Now relax until - - “)
But it’s too late. For this is the day that a SUPERMAN died.
There are no words.
oh my jesus that was him wasn’t it
